With “34:13_Ambeliona” on Triple Bath, he plunges back into the atmospheres of his native country, and more precisely those of a mountain village in the midst of Peloponnese, and one can sense all his fondness there…
managing to catch effortlessly the transient, he paints a landscape in all the splendour of its tiny light variations, and it’s then that one realizes all the evocative power of sounds themselves…
Everything starts in a rustic quiet where air seems to materialize…
short length serenity disrupted by a virulent thunderstorm that, as a warning shot, comes meet us while refocusing us on the essential : the chant of everyday life…
a rooster sings at the top of its voice, plants quiver, a herd walks around lasciviously, time fades…
There’s unquestionably an insistence on the weight, those alternations between movement, and lack of movement, and above all the indeterminate wait…
then comes that benefactor rain…a rain that erases, an orchestra-rain…a rain which recalibrates like a caesura…
Different ringings staggered in the valley…hummings of disseminated insects…natural parade of sumptuous simplicity, and a land that gives shelter…
“34:13_Ambeliona” is a plea for the here and now, a eulogy of the slow, and in this respect, a true locus of return to the roots…

se situant ainsi dans la mouvance d’un Francisco López…
Avec “34:13_Ambeliona” publié par Triple Bath, il replonge dans les ambiances de son pays natal, et plus précisément celles d’un village de montagne au coeur du Péloponnèse, et l’on y perçoit tout son attachement…
parvenant à saisir le fugace sans effort, il nous brosse un paysage dans toute la splendeur de ses infimes variations de lumière, et c’est alors qu’on se rend compte de toute la puissance évocatrice des sons eux-mêmes…
Tout démarre dans une quiétude champêtre où l’air semble prendre relief…
sérénité de courte durée troublée par un virulent orage qui comme un coup de semonce vient à notre rencontre en nous refocalisant sur l’essentiel : le chant du quotidien…
Un coq s’égosille, la végétation frémit, un troupeau déambule lascivement, le temps passe…
Il y a incontestablement une insistence sur la pesanteur, ces alternances entre mouvement, et absence de mouvement, et surtout l’attente indéterminée…
puis vient cette pluie bienfaitrice…une pluie qui efface, une pluie-orchestre…une pluie qui recalibre comme une césure…
Différents tintements échelonnés dans la vallée…vrombissements d’insectes disséminés…parade naturelle somptueuse de simplicité, et une terre qui nous offre son asile…
“34:13_Ambeliona” est un plaidoyer pour le maintenant et l’ici, un éloge du lent, et à ce titre, un véritable lieu de ressourcement…
