[STR 009] Portscape

Portscape is a composition created by radio/sound artist Ward Weis, using recordings of a port in the Antwerp city, Belgium. The composition reflects not only the elements you my expect from a place like this, but also a lot of mysterious sounds and environments, some of them chosen from a personal experience of the artist inside the place. Also, the recorded material itself represents a registry of several years, since the composition features material captured between the 80’s and today.
