“May I Ask You All For Silence?” is a work created by Audrius Simkunas from Lithuania, under his nickname SALA, a long running experimental music/art project that translates as “The Isle”.
The two piece included in this release were created from field recordings done in the artist’s hometown during the last winter, with the idea of exploring the acoustic “atmospheres” and “quietness” of wintertime weather in the local area.
(The title of the release was obtained from the song “The Dreamer Is Still Asleep” by the band Coil).
