“Atmósferas Sonoras Acuosas del Nevado del Dulima” (Watery sonic atmospheres of Dulima’s snow mountains) is a sound work by colombian artist José Ricardo Delgado. A release including raw field recordings made in Tolima (Dulima is the ancient name), Colombia, in a natural reserve called “Los Nevados National Park” located in the Andes mountains.
Release notes:
“You ask why I make my home in the mountain forest,
and I smile, and am silent,
and even my soul remains quiet:
it lives in the other world
which no one owns.
The peach trees blossom,
The water flows.” – Li Bai
