zimoun feat. helena gough

zimounWhen the micro time scale is explored, the perception of the macro radically changes. When talking about texture, it’s also interesting to think about sequence, where certain structures function in different routes, coordinated under certain parameters in constant fluctuation. Zimoun is an artist characterized for exploring minimalism in that kind of environment in which, based on the repetition of elementary sounds and objects and the understanding of sound as a macro-structure of micro-structures, it’s built an atmosphere for overcoming the abstract reality and finding ways into the havens of micro-landscapes, paradises discovered in worlds of atomic apotheosis, massive and entropic interaction of particles appearing in the bowels of listening and being stimulated also by a permanent feed of auditory activity. The result is a cosmic mock-up created from the prevailing interconnection of millions of sonic cells.
