Visual Sounds of Finland is the latest installation work by media artist Andy Thomas, whose work we have previously mentioned here. Although his work is mainly visual, in the recent years, he has been doing an interesting sonic exploration based on sounds from species around the world, also mixed with some artificial species resulting of his own experimentation processes.

The main idea is to develop visualizations based on custom 3D modelled structures which are created in a frontier between organic and technological expressions, resulting into abstract textures and forms animated in exotic ways in which sound’s inner universes get imagined.

There are more videos at his vimeo channel.
