Slavek Kwi aka Artificial Memory Trace, who previously released the amazing Afrifton work here at Sonic Terrain, has compiled a wonderful mix for framework radio, featuring field recordings from the Mmabolela wildlife reserve in Limpopo, South Africa. The included sounds come from some participants of the 2013 and 2014 edition of the Sonic Mmabolela workshops, directed by Francisco López. “All comments are left in original language without translation. In this way all animal and human sounds are equally incomprehensible to majority of listeners.”
Artists included:
x bell = Jeremy Hegge (Australia)
x bell = Herbert Baioco Vasconcelos (Brazil)
x bell = Jean-Baptiste Masson (France)
x bell = Stijn Demeulenaere (Belgium)
x bell = Slavek Kwi (Czechie/Ireland)
x bell = Peter Terner (Hungary)
x bell = Robert Schwarz (Austria) + voice: David Stalling (Germany/Ireland)
x bell = David Michael(USA) + voice: Helen Blackhurst (UK/Ireland)
