The School of Sound has created a new archive to include full audio recordings of lectures given by sound designers, directors and artists during previous editions of their event. The first nine have been uploaded already, although they promise more of them will be added during the next months, given that the archive of recordings they have is of almost 200 lectures.

“In Archive, you’ll find nine talks from 1998-2015 by Carter Burwell, Roger Crittenden, Pat Jackson, Mani Kaul, Walter Murch, Peter Sellars, Phil Solomon, Jim Webb and Peter Wollen. More will be added in the coming months along with video interviews we’ve produced.

These lectures cover an amazing range of ideas and perspectives, demonstrating the depth of thought, reflection and experience communicated at these meetings.”
